The house

Elegance and charm in the heart of the village Completely renovated in 2025, this charming 90m² village house comfortably accommodates 4 people for a pleasant stay in a retro-chic atmosphere. On the ground floor, discover the spacious living area, which opens onto a fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, there are two large, cosy bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, toilet and walk-in wardrobe, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests. The ‘Bois Sacré’ bedroom: 160x200 bed with en-suite shower room and toilet. The ‘Écume de Mer’ bedroom: 140x200 bed with en-suite shower room and toilet.

Everything has been arranged to ensure you can make the most of your stay, without having to carry around any unnecessary clutter. * Free Wi-Fi To stay connected, work remotely if needed, or simply share your memories. * Linen provided Bed linen and towels are included. The beds are carefully made up for your arrival. * Everyday essentials Cleaning products, washing-up liquid, sponges and tea towels are provided. The utility room is also equipped with a hoover, a broom, a mop and ironing equipment. * Bicycle shelter A covered and secure shelter, with space for up to 4 bicycles, featuring sockets for charging electric bikes and a water tap for rinsing them.

L’Échappée is part of the Accueil Vélo© network. Vendée Vélo is a network of over 1,800 km of signposted cycle routes, allowing you to explore the Vendée at your own pace, taking in the coast, the countryside, nature and the forests. L’Échappée is just 40 metres from the Vendée Vélo route. This proximity makes all the difference when you’re travelling by bike. You can simply turn up, leave your bikes in the designated shelter and enjoy a proper break before setting off again. https://vendeevelo.vendee-tourisme.com Everything you need for a comfortable stopover At L’Échappée, you’ll find: - A covered, secure shelter for 4 bikes. - Electrical sockets for charging electric bikes. - A water point for rinsing your bikes. - A washing machine and tumble dryer to wash and dry your clothes. - Beds made up on your arrival. - Bed linen and towels are provided. - All the essentials you’ll need on site, so you don’t have to carry anything unnecessary. For stays outside school holidays, book from as little as one night. During school holidays: minimum stay of 2 nights.

The “La Belle Aventure” appetiser platter Serves 4: €40 To kick off your stay without having to worry about shopping, treat yourself to an appetiser platter prepared by La Belle Aventure restaurant, our local partner. Artisanal charcuterie, local cheeses, raw vegetables, bread and butter + a complimentary 75 cl bottle of local “La Perchée” beer. Please order 48 hours before your arrival. * The baby kit – Stay package: €30 Travel light! A complete baby kit can be prepared in the house before your arrival. - 120x60 wooden cot with mattress, mattress protector and fitted sheet. (Or a multifunctional Louna cot for babies from birth to 6 months) - Sleeping bag. - Bath towels and a baby bath. - High chair and feeding essentials To be booked in advance Your dog is also welcome at L’Échappée. €5 per day per dog Maximum of 1 dog per booking.

Arrival and departure instructions

CHECK-IN – From 5.00 pm. We are committed to welcoming our guests. In the event of unavailability or a late arrival, an access code will be sent to you by text message on the day of your arrival. The key will be available in a secure key box located at the entrance to the house. - Where to park? Rue Monte à peine is barely accessible by car. It is narrow and two vehicles cannot pass each other. You may park there whilst unloading. The road must be kept clear to allow local residents to pass. Free parking spaces are available in the surrounding area. * The street is not lit after 10 pm. - What to do on arrival? Please take your time to settle in. Please do not hesitate to let us know of any issues as soon as possible. Don’t forget to check the welcome booklet available on site for the Wi-Fi password and practical local information. DEPARTURE – By 11.00 am at the latest. - Crockery clean and tidied away: - Lights switched off & appliances switched off: - Windows and doors locked: - Bins emptied and waste sorted for recycling. - Returning the keys: We will collect the keys at the agreed time; if we are unable to do so, please leave them in the key box.
